Our Message Library allows any marketer to create text message content and make that content available to others for future use. For example:
- You’re a corporate marketer at a restaurant chain with 200 locations owned & operated by franchisees
- You’re a senior marketer with a team of more junior marketers
- You’re a solo marketer who simply wants to save time each time you want to send text messages to customers
In the case of the marketer with 200 franchisees, the individual marketer can create approved text message content that meet with their corporate brand standard, then make that content available to franchisees to choose from when they market to customers of their individual stores.
Even as a solo marketer, the Message Library can be a time-saver, allowing you to create content that you use often and simply insert it when you want to send your next text message campaign.
To find the Message Library, click “Text Messaging” in the main Signal navigation, then hover over the “More” link in the sub-navigation to see the “Message Library” option.
From here you can view or edit past library messages you’ve created or you can add a new one.
Creating a new library text message is easy. Simply create a name for your message (this is just for you, no recipients will see this name) and enter your message content.
A few important things to note:
- The “shared with sub accounts” option allows you make this library message available to users of accounts that are linked to your parent account. For example, if you have a franchise location that is set up as a sub-account of your corporate account, selecting this option allows the franchisee that operated that location to use your library message in his account.
- You can add any personalization or coupon tags to this message you’d like, just like with any other text message you send with Signal. In the above example, you can see a coupon tag is used.
Once messages are stored in the library, it’s easy for you or the users you shared the message with to send your library messages to people subscribed to your lists.
Simply select the “New Text Message” option and in the icons that appear below the message composition box you’ll see an option to “select from the message library.”
You’ll then see all of your available library messages appear. Simply select the one you want and it will pre-populate in the message composition box. From there, just pick the recipients who should receive this message and then scheduled it to send and, voila, your library message has become a text message campaign in seconds.
There are no limits on the number of library messages you can create, so get started today.
